Students learn how to use comparative adjectives to compare two people, places or things. The worksheet teaches -er + than with many short adjectives, such as cheaper than, smaller than, bigger than and happier than. It also teaches more + adjective + than with longer adjectives, such as more difficult than, more interesting than and more reliable than.
Students also learn how to use superlative adjectives to compare one person, place or thing with a whole group. The worksheet covers the + adjective + -est, such as the cheapest, the youngest, the biggest and the happiest, as well as the most + adjective, such as the most expensive, the most useful and the most reliable.
The worksheet also teaches important spelling changes and irregular adjectives.
