Welcome to the IELTS Writing Task 2 section of Britfluency.
In IELTS Writing Task 2, you need to write an essay in response to a point of view, argument or problem. You must write at least 250 words and you should spend about 40 minutes on this task.
Task 2 is worth more marks than Task 1, so it is especially important. A strong answer needs a clear position, well-developed ideas and good organisation.
To do well in Task 2, you need to answer the question fully, organise your ideas clearly and use accurate grammar with a good range of vocabulary. It is also important to support your main points with relevant explanations and examples.
